Benjamin Jonson was an English playwright, poet, actor, and literary critic, whose artistry exerted a lasting impact upon English poetry and stage comedy. He popularised the comedy of humours.

So, here discuss about Ben jonson and his life and also his work. His work,


1) Evry man in his humour,

So, it's his work and we discussed about in short.


(1) 1st work,

Jonson's works, his satires are some of his most well-known, even today. Every Man in His Humour was written in 1598 and was the first of his many "humour plays". ... Though the humours are an essential theme to the play, Jonson's deeper love of parodying his own culture is also shown in Every Man in His Humour.

(2) 2nd work,

Synopsis. Volpone (The Fox) is a Venetian gentleman who pretends to be on his deathbed after a long illness in order to dupe Voltore (The Vulture), Corbaccio (The Raven) and Corvino (The Crow), three men who aspire to inherit his fortune.

(3) 3rd work,

Epicœne, or The Silent Woman, also known as Epicene, is a comedy by Renaissance playwright Ben Jonson. The play is about a man named Dauphine who creates a scheme to get his inheritance from his uncle Morose. The plan involves setting Morose up to marry Epicoene, a boy disguised as a woman.

(4) 4th work,

The Alchemist tells the story of a young shepherd named Santiago who is able to find a treasure beyond his wildes dreams. Along the way, he learns to listen to his heart and, more importantly, realizes that his dreams, or his Personal Legend, are not just his but part of the Soul of the Universe.
